BS ISO 30422:2022 BRITISH STANDARD National foreword This British Standard is the UK implementation of IS0 30422:2022. It supersedes PD 76006:2017, which will be withdrawn 0n 1 June 2024. The delayed date of withdrawal is to enable UK organizations to continue to demonstrate their commitment to learning and development (L&D). The UK participation in its preparation was entrusted to Technical Committee HCS/1/2, International Human Resource Management. A list of organizations represented on this committee can be obtained on request to its committee manager. The UK committee was deliberate in its decision to participate in the development of IS0 30422:2022 and to ensure the inclusion of members of the PD 76006:2017 drafting committee. The ethos and principled approach in PD 76006:2017 of valuing people through L&D informed the development of IS0 30422:2022. The standard builds on PD 76006:2017 principles and provides a framework of guidance for effective organizational learning and development through identifying and meeting learning objectives at with knowledge, skills and capabilities to contribute to reaching organizational goals. This document is appropriate for organizations of all types and sizes and is also relevant to the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: Goal 4, Quality education; Goal 8, Decent work and economic growth; Goal 9, Industry, innovation and infrastructure; and Goal 10, Reduced inequalities.
